🎨 ALBUMS COLORS
France produced a stunning series of 400+ thematic maps in its multi-decade series of the Albums de Statistique Graphique. The below selection of circle marks gives a hint of the design ingenuity this series contains.
Across Advent 2019 we analyzed and digitized Album color palettes. Beautiful (and weird) color designs were selected and digitized into vector patterns. For example, see how this wonderful purple sequential palette was remastered:

1940s Isotype cartography inspired the latest Info We Trust creation: Cross-sections through California. This unique look at the great mountains and valleys of California is almost finished. Here is a preview of the beginning of this super tall (9x24!) map:
